Uzbekistan Ambassador and Adviser to the President of Latvia discuss prospects for enhancing collaboration

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Kadambay Sultanov has met with the Foreign Affairs Adviser to the President of Latvia, Solveiga Silkalna, in Riga.

At the meeting, issues of the current agenda of Uzbekistan – Latvian cooperation in political, diplomatic, trade, economic, investment, technological, cultural and humanitarian spheres were considered.

The sides exchanged views on the upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels, as well as interaction within the framework of international multilateral structures, including the UN.

Particular attention at the meeting was paid to holding in 2020 of the 8th virtual meeting of Uzbekistan – Latvian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
