Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 5 November, a flight operated by Uzbekistan Airways made an emergency landing in Canada due to the premature delivery of one of its passengers.
According to the airline, flight HY101 departed from Tashkent en route to New York. During the flight, the captain decided to divert the aircraft to the alternate airport Goose Bay (Canada) due to an emergency situation on board.
The landing was executed at 20:50 Tashkent time, and medical personnel boarded the aircraft. As a result, it was decided to hospitalize the passenger.
It is worth noting that this flight had previously been forced to return to its departure airport due to the deteriorating health of another passenger.
