Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Telecom Soft is developing an intelligent transport system integrated with artificial intelligence that will enable real-time monitoring of traffic flows, traffic management, congestion prevention and traffic flow optimization, Deputy Director of Telecom Soft Ramiz Mingazov said at the Uztelecom booth during ICTWeek Uzbekistan 2026.
According to Mingazov, the system is designed for cities with high traffic volumes. The platform will allow traffic flows to be monitored across an entire city while also addressing road conditions at the local level.
“We are developing an intelligent transport system designed for cities with heavy traffic. What capabilities does this system offer? In real time, it allows us to monitor traffic flows across the city, manage traffic, prevent congestion and optimize traffic flows,” Mingazov said.
One of the system's capabilities will be real-time monitoring of individual intersections. The platform will be able to account for the priority of public transport, ambulances and fire engines.
“For example, it can monitor a specific intersection locally while giving priority to public transport, ambulances and fire engines,” Mingazov added.
