Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 19 September 2024, the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade hosted a roundtable on the topic of "Bringing National Foodservice Brands to International Markets."

The event was attended by Minister Laziz Kudratov and about 15 leaders from major enterprises in the foodservice industry.

During the roundtable, participants discussed opportunities for national foodservice brands to enter foreign markets and the prospects of working through franchising agreements. Specific steps were considered to promote and support national brands abroad.

More than 20 new proposals and initiatives were presented by entrepreneurs working in this field. Each suggestion was accepted for further development, with plans to take appropriate organizational measures.

As a result of the roundtable, responsible officials were tasked with developing a draft regulatory document. This document will address the challenges raised by entrepreneurs and implement new initiatives to expand companies’ presence in both nearby and distant international markets.
