Uzbek, Turkish FMs discuss development of bilateral relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in New York (USA) on 25 September 2014.

During the talks, the ministers exchanged opinion on current state of the Uzbek-Turkish relations and priorities of their further development, considered schedule of upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

Uzbekistan officially affirmed supported candidacy of Turkey in election on non-permanent members of the UN Security Council for 2015-2016.

At the meeting, the sides discussed separate issues of international and regional problems, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
