Uzbek special forces hold anti-terrorism drills in Surkhandarya region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Special forces of Uzbekistan held a joint anti-terrorism drills in Surkhandarya region.

Special divisions of National Security Service, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior Affairs and Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan participated in the drills.

In line with the drill’s scenario, the special services blocked and eliminated terrorists, who attempted to cross border via Amudarya with boats.

The military also eliminated fire at border crossing at Termez-Hayraton bridge over Amudarya and warding off mass disorders by the citizens of neighboring states.
