Uzbek head approves economic cooperation treaty with Turkmenistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov approved an agreement between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan on economic cooperation for 2013-2017.

The international agreement was signed on 2 October 2012 in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan) during official visit of Uzbek President Islam Karimov to Turkmenistan.

President Islam Karimov entrusted Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inform Turkmen side that Uzbekistan carried out necessary internal procedures, , which is required for entering into force of the agreement.
