Uzbek FM Receives Credentials of Pakistan's New Ambassador

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials of Muhammad Mudassir Tipu, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Uzbekistan, on 22 July.

During the meeting, the two sides held detailed discussions on further strengthening the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Pakistan and ensuring the consistent implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.

Priority areas of cooperation identified during the talks included expanding trade, economic and investment ties, enhancing the work of the Strategic Partnership Council, increasing bilateral trade and developing interregional cooperation.

Saidov wished the new Pakistani ambassador success in his diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan and reaffirmed the Uzbek side's readiness to work closely to further develop bilateral relations.
