Uzbek FM holds talks with Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of the US for South and Central Asian Affairs Richard E. Hoagland on 26 February 2014. The US official is visiting Uzbekistan to hold bilateral consultations.

The press service of the of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that during the meeting, the sides considered actual issues of the Uzbek-US cooperation, perspectives of strengthening cooperation in politics, trade-economic, humanitarian and other spheres of mutual interest.

The sides also exchanged opinion on some international and regional issues.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States George Krol participated in the meeting.
