Uzbek delegation pays visit to UK

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of Uzbekistan, which includes representatives of Ecologic Movement, State Nature Protection Committee and Uzbektourism, are paying visit to Great Britain.

The visit will take place from 8 to 15 November and envisages meetings at the committees of the British parliament, state and non-governmental ecologic organizations. The delegation will also visit cultural and natural heritage objects, protected nature territories, as well as roundtable “Protection of environment and development of ecologic tourism: experience of Uzbekistan and Great Britain”, which will be held at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in London.

At the roundtable, the Uzbek and British experts will discuss the current state and prospects of development of legislation in the field of environmental protection, exchange experiences on public participation in the implementation of public environmental control and development of ecological tourism.
