Uzbek cyclist wins Tour of Bostonliq women’s race 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The “Tour of Bostonliq” road cycling competition concluded in Tashkent, featuring both men’s and women’s races on the second day of the tournament. Men covered a distance of 162.8 km, while women competed over 113 km.
In the women’s race, cyclist Shakhnoza Abdullaeva of the 7 Saber Uzbekistan Women Cycling Team claimed victory.
After building a significant advantage in the opening stage, she managed to maintain her lead in the overall standings. Despite not finishing among the top positions in the second stage, her finish within the main peloton allowed her to retain first place overall.
In the men’s competition, Uzbekistan national team rider Sergey Rostovtsev finished second in the second stage. However, this result was not sufficient to secure a podium position in the general classification.
The “Tour of Bostonliq” traditionally brings together leading cyclists and contributes to the development of both professional and amateur cycling in Uzbekistan.
