Cannavaro Denies Reports of €4 Million Annual Salary

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan national football team head coach Fabio Cannavaro has denied reports that his annual salary is €4 million.

Speaking at a press conference, the Italian coach described such reports as inaccurate and urged people not to believe the rumors.

"My annual salary is not €4 million. This false information is repeated very often, and it should not be believed," Cannavaro said.

The press conference also addressed the remuneration of the specialists who joined the coaching staff together with Cannavaro.

It was explained that the Uzbekistan Football Association does not pay separate salaries to the head coach's assistants.

Instead, they work under Cannavaro's contract, and their remuneration is covered by the total amount allocated under his agreement with the association.
