Uzbek Citizens Supported to Return Home From Türkiye
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul provided assistance to two citizens of the republic who were in a difficult social and financial situation in Türkiye, helping them return home, the diplomatic mission reported.
During an investigation into their situation, officials determined that the citizens encountered problems with their personal documents. They were left without identification after giving their passports to third parties.
With the assistance of the Migration Agency, the citizens received the necessary consular and organizational support.
In addition, they were provided with help purchasing plane tickets to return to Uzbekistan.
The Consulate General urged citizens of the republic not to transfer their passports to other individuals, to keep their documents safe, and to use them exclusively for lawful purposes.
