Technopark to Be Established in Rishtan With Investors

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A specialized technopark housing modern manufacturing projects and attracting foreign investment is planned for creation in the Rishtan district of Ferghana Region. The implementation of the initiative was discussed by Region Khokim Khayrullo Bozorov and a delegation from the Chinese company Shandun Singke Holding Co., Ltd. led by its head Ying Beijing.

During the meeting, the parties reviewed the practical implementation of agreements reached during delegation visits, including investment projects planned in the Rishtan district.

Primary attention was focused on accelerating the creation of the specialized technopark. Modern projects aimed at producing import-substituting and export products are expected to be located on its territory. Expanding the attraction of foreign investment into the region was also discussed.

Chinese investors presented proposals for the development of the technopark using the advanced experience of China's Shandong Province. The parties also considered opportunities for mutual integration within future cooperation.

In addition, company representatives proposed a number of promising investment projects for implementation in Ferghana Region.

Khayrullo Bozorov stated the readiness of the regional administration to support the presented initiatives and projects. He noted that further cooperation will be carried out in accordance with established requirements and procedures.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further measures to implement the agreements reached.
