Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A number of industrial investment projects are planned for implementation in the free economic zone located in the Navruz mahalla of Margilan, Ferghana Region. Region Khokim Khayrullo Bozorov reviewed presentations of the projects and discussed their implementation with investors.

The presented initiatives include the production of furniture, microchips for solar panels, sandwich panels, footwear, auto parts, metal structures, and knitwear products.

During his visit to the economic zone, Khayrullo Bozorov examined the prospective projects and spoke with investors. The head of the region emphasized the importance of locating manufacturing facilities in industrial zones that can generate high added value, produce competitive goods, and create a significant number of new jobs.

Information was also presented on the utilization of vacant buildings and facilities in Margilan for manufacturing and business projects. Following instructions from the region khokim, 143 projects providing for the use of such properties were developed within one month.

Following the visit, Khayrullo Bozorov instructed officials to accelerate the implementation of projects in the economic zone, provide investors with necessary assistance, and take measures to launch new production capacity.
