Emergencies Ministry Rescuer Dies Saving People From Fire

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Captain Boburmirzo Pardaev, team commander of the Republican Special Rescue Battalion, was killed during a rescue operation following a residential fire in Tashkent's Uchtepa district on the night of 15 August 2026, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan reported.

Rescuers successfully evacuated the residents from the burning building.

The emergency dispatch service received a report of a fire in a house located in the Kuyi Darkhon mahalla at 03:41.

Personnel from the Tashkent Main Emergency Situations Department and the Republican Special Rescue Battalion quickly arrived at the scene.

While extinguishing the blaze, rescuers simultaneously carried out the evacuation of residents, bringing everyone safely out of the structure.

Captain Boburmirzo Pardaev took part in the rescue operation, during which he sustained fatal injuries and died while evacuating people.

The press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that Captain Pardaev fulfilled his duty to the last, placing human safety above his own life.

The leadership and staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations expressed their deep condolences to the officer's family and loved ones.
