Uzbek-Chinese trade turnover up 19.8% in 2009

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Trade turnover of China and Uzbekistan made up US$1.91 billion in 2009, or grew by 19.8% year-on-year, Chinese envoy said.

Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan Yu Hongjun said it was difficult to achieve such record figure in challenging times.

He said these are results of anti-crisis measures, adopted by the governments of China and Uzbekistan, as well as development of cooperation between two states.
