Uzbek chemical industry produces goods for 1.554 trln. soums in 1H

Enterprises of chemical industry of Uzbekistan increased production of goods by 5.3% year-on-year to 1.554 trillion soums in the first half of 2013.
Enterprises of the industry increased production of phosphate fertilizers (+5.1% compared to January-June 2012), complex compound fertilizers (3 times), sulfuric acid (+6.2%), phosphoric acid extraction (+10.5%), ammonium sulphate (+18.2%), strong nitric acid (1.8 times), and suprefos (+3.2%).
The industry also increased the production of soda ash (+26.3%), hydrochloric acid (+9.7%), acetic acid (9.1 times), acetaldehyde (1.7 times), plant protection (+12.4%), carbon dioxide (+4.8%), technical salt (2.4 times), and a polyethylene film (5 times).
