Uzbek banks credit small business for over 557.9 bn soums

The website said the Board of the Central Bank held a meeting to discuss results of banking system in the first six months of 2008.

The regulator said currently total volume of credit investments made up 5.95 trillion soums. In the reporting period, the banks issued 61.8 billion soums as mortgage, micro and consumer credits, the Central Bank added.
