Fergana State Technical University and AHA Company Agree on Student Grants
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Fergana State Technical University and South Korean company AHA concluded a cooperation agreement during the Tashkent International Investment Forum. The signed document elevates the partnership between the university and the foreign business to a qualitatively new stage, expanding international opportunities for Uzbek students and strengthening the university's global academic ties.
In accordance with the reached agreements, AHA company assumes obligations to annually allocate 10 educational grants for students of Fergana State Technical University. In addition to direct financial support for students, the agreement provides for the launch of joint projects in the field of dual education.
The cooperation program includes the organization of professional internships, assistance in the subsequent employment of graduates, as well as the implementation of initiatives to integrate artificial intelligence technologies into production processes to strengthen direct links between the academic environment and the real industrial sector.
An additional vector of the partnership will be the expansion of interaction between the Uzbek university and the Seoul National University of Science and Technology (Seoultech) with the assistance of AHA company.
The parties managed to reach an agreement with Seoultech on the allocation of another two grants for students of Fergana State Technical University. This area of cooperation is aimed at the long-term development of joint educational programs and the research potential of both higher education institutions.
