Uzbek-Azerbaijani agreement comes into force

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- An agreement between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan on cooperation in the field of emergency management came into force on 29 January 2016.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said that the document was signed on 19 May 2015 in Tashkent.

In accordance with the provisions of the Agreement, the parties shall cooperate in the prevention and elimination of natural, technological and environmental emergencies by providing mutual assistance, monitoring and coordination of interaction of interested state structures, exchange of information, training specialists.
