US Senate officials hold meeting at Uzbek Foreign Ministry

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A delegation of the Committee of Foreign Affairs of the Senate of the US Congress, including Fatema Sumar and Andrew Imbri, held negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 28 October 2011.

The ministry’s press service said that the sides exchanged opinion on bilateral relations and development of inter-parliamentary relations, construct interaction with the US Congress.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Uzbekistan George Krol participated at the meeting.
