US CENTCOM Commander pays visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Commander of United States Central Command (CENTCOM) General Lloyd James Austin III has been received at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan on 29 July 2014.

During the meeting, the sides discussed separate issues of the Uzbek-US relations and exchanged opinion on some international and regional problems, development of situation in Afghanistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

Charge d’Affaires of the United States to Uzbekistan Philip S. Kosnett participated at the meeting.
