US Assistant Secretary of State Robert Blake visits Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake visited Uzbekistan on 9-10 November 2010, a press service of the US Embassy in Tashkent said.

Assistant Secretary Blake’s visit to Uzbekistan is his third since taking up his current position, the press service said.

In Tashkent, Assistant Secretary Blake met with government officials to discuss a range of issues of mutual interests, including in the security, political, economic and human dimensions of the US-Uzbekistan relationship.
