Albanian President to Pay Official Visit to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Albania Bajram Begaj will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on 16-17 June at the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The Albanian leader will be accompanied by his spouse.

High-level talks will be held in Tashkent focusing on the further development of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Albania. The sides plan to discuss prospects for expanding cooperation across a broad range of areas.

Particular attention will be given to strengthening partnership in trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, green energy and tourism. The agenda also includes the development of cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.

The leaders are expected to exchange views on current international issues, including cooperation and mutual support within multilateral platforms.

The Albanian president's program also includes participation in the fifth Tashkent International Investment Forum, which will be held in the Uzbek capital.
