Uzbekistan Journalists’ Union Establishes Bloggers Council

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A Bloggers Creative Council has begun operating under the Journalists’ Union of Uzbekistan.

The council aims to strengthen bloggers’ professional skills and media literacy, support young content creators and expand opportunities for talented authors to develop. The Journalists’ Union reported this.

The initiative to establish the council was proposed on 3 June during the “Project Day” event.

The council’s first meeting brought together bloggers, journalists, media experts and industry specialists, who discussed the main areas of work for the new body.

The Bloggers Creative Council will also promote the creation of responsible content in the modern media environment, support the professional development of industry representatives and provide a platform for open dialogue.
