US and Uzbek firms develop joint projects for US$4bn

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Companies of Uzbekistan and US are working on joint investment and trade projects for over US$4 billion, the Chairperson of the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce (AUCC) Carolyn Lamm said on 11 November.

She said that several large companies are conducting successful business in Uzbekistan and this is good evidence for potential of expansion of economic relations between the states.

Speaking at the session of the American-Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce, Lamm noted that currently the Uzbek and US companies are working on projects for total sum of over US$4 billion.
