Unlicensed Pharmacy Found Operating in Kashkadarya

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Law enforcement authorities in Kashkadarya region have stopped the operations of a pharmacy that continued selling medicines after its license had been revoked.

According to the Kashkadarya regional department of the Department under the General Prosecutor’s Office, a preliminary investigation found that M.U., head of the private enterprise “H.B.”, was engaged in the retail sale of medicines and medical products despite the company’s license having been annulled by a court decision.

According to investigators, after the license was terminated, the enterprise sold pharmaceutical products worth a total of 2.4 billion soums.

A criminal case has been opened under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code. Investigative measures are currently ongoing.
