Mirziyoyev and Kobakhidze Discuss Partnership Development

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze, during which the sides discussed further development of Uzbek-Georgian strategic partnership relations.

At the beginning of the conversation, Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated the Uzbek leader on his birthday, wishing him good health and well-being, as well as peace and prosperity to the people of Uzbekistan.

The talks focused on practical implementation of the agreements reached following the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Georgia on 2–3 July this year.

The sides discussed current issues related to further developing bilateral cooperation within the framework of strategic partnership.
