Uzbek Foreign Minister Receives Credentials of Malaysia's New Envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of credentials from newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Uzbekistan Rafeda Binti Abdul Aziz.

According to the foreign minister, the meeting focused on prospects for further development of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia.

The sides noted that active high-level dialogue in recent years has brought bilateral relations to a new stage of development.

Particular attention was paid to expanding trade and economic ties, deepening investment cooperation and promoting new joint projects in various fields.

Bakhtiyor Saidov wished Rafeda Binti Abdul Aziz success in her diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan and confirmed Uzbekistan's readiness to provide comprehensive support in her work.
