Hyatt Opens First Destination by Hyatt Resort in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Hyatt Hotels Corporation has announced the opening of Beldersoy Resort & SPA, the first Destination by Hyatt resort in Uzbekistan. The property is also Hyatt's first premium mountain resort in the country.

The resort is located in the Beldersoy mountains in the Chimgan-Bostanlyk region. Its proximity to ski slopes, cable cars, and hiking and cycling trails positions it as a year-round destination. Charvak Lake, Chimgan village, and Tashkent are located nearby.

Beldersoy Resort & SPA features 109 guest rooms and 36 standalone villas overlooking the mountains. The interiors incorporate contemporary design, natural color palettes, and handcrafted works by local artisans inspired by Uzbekistan's cultural heritage.

Michel Morauw, Managing Director, Hyatt EAME North, said the resort combines contemporary design, high service standards, and respect for local culture. He said it is the first Destination by Hyatt property in the region and will offer wellness programs inspired by the natural surroundings and a holistic approach to well-being.

Khaled Shaker, General Manager of Beldersoy Resort & SPA, said the development placed particular emphasis on preserving the natural landscape, green spaces, and environmental sustainability. He said the resort incorporates engineering solutions designed to reduce energy consumption, use water resources efficiently, and minimize its environmental impact.

One of the resort's main features is a wellness center inspired by the concept of thalassotherapy. Guests have access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, including a seawater and mineral salt pool, a high-magnesium pool designed for relaxation, and an outdoor infinity pool with panoramic views. The resort also offers a spa, fitness facilities, and organized outdoor activity programs.

The dining facilities include two restaurants and a lobby lounge. Nafis serves seasonal cuisine throughout the day, while Fire & Ice specializes in meat dishes and signature culinary creations.

The resort also offers two conference rooms and the Tien Shan ballroom for conferences, corporate meetings, weddings, and other events.
