Senate and Notary Chamber Sign Cooperation Memorandum

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan on Judicial and Legal Issues and Combating Corruption and the Notary Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan have signed a memorandum of cooperation aimed at developing the notarial sector, improving law enforcement practices and strengthening cooperation in legislative activities.

The document provides for the preparation of proposals to improve the quality of notarial services, reduce bureaucratic procedures and further digitalize the notarial system.

The parties also intend to involve experienced industry specialists in the work of expert and working groups operating under the Senate Committee.

Under the memorandum, joint conferences and seminars will also be organized to explain the content and significance of legislative acts, prepare methodological materials and improve legal awareness among the public.

The agreement is expected to contribute to improving legislation and developing effective cooperation between the legislative body and the professional notary community.
