Kazakhstan Appoints New Ambassador to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed Yeraly Tugzhanov as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan, according to a presidential decree.
Before his appointment, Tugzhanov had served as an adviser to the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan since May 2024.
He succeeds Beibut Atamkulov, who had headed Kazakhstan's diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan since October 2022.
