Kelajak Center and Russian Children and Youth Center sign cooperation agreement
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Kelajak National Center of Uzbekistan and the Russian Children and Youth Center (Rosdetcenter) have signed a cooperation agreement in the fields of youth upbringing and additional education. The document was signed on 9 July 2026 in Moscow during a working visit by the Director of the Kelajak Center, Indira Kholdarova.
As part of the visit, Kholdarova visited the federal office of Rosdetcenter and held negotiations with the director of the organization, Alexander Kudryashov. Following the meeting, the two sides agreed to develop joint projects aimed at the comprehensive development of children and youth, as well as to expand the exchange of professional experience.
Alexander Kudryashov noted that Rosdetcenter, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, consistently develops international cooperation in the field of education and upbringing. According to him, interaction with colleagues from Uzbekistan will become the foundation for long-term projects demanded by both specialists and youth, while also contributing to the strengthening of humanitarian ties between the two countries.
Indira Kholdarova emphasized that the agreement opens up new opportunities for the implementation of joint initiatives in upbringing, additional education, and the professional development of specialists. She stated that the parties are interested not only in exchanging experience but also in creating sustainable cooperation mechanisms that allow for the implementation of best practices and the expansion of opportunities for the younger generation.
The agreement provides for interaction in the sphere of educational work, additional education for students of educational institutions in both countries, as well as the exchange of advanced methodologies and the implementation of joint projects.
The Kelajak National Center was established in September 2025 by decree of the President of Uzbekistan. The center coordinates the activities of school advisors in supporting student initiatives, provides methodological assistance to specialists in the additional education system, and ensures the operation of more than 8,000 hobby groups and the KelajakCamp children's health camp.
Since its inception, the center has hosted two seasons of a professional competition for school advisors involving around 50,000 participants, and launched the "Kelajak Soati" (Kelajak Hour) project across the republic's schools, kindergartens, and higher education institutions.
The Russian Children and Youth Center implements programs for the upbringing of children and youth based on spiritual and moral values, and develops international cooperation by promoting the exchange of best practices in educational work.
