Bukhara Region Closes All Kindergartens Due to Severe Heat

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — All preschool educational organizations in the Bukhara Region have temporarily suspended operations from 15 July 2026 to 17 July 2026 due to abnormally high air temperatures. This was announced by the press service of the regional education department.

The agency noted that temperatures in the region are expected to rise to 44 to 45 degrees Celsius this week. The decision was made to protect the lives and health of preschool-aged children and to prevent the negative effects of the extreme heat.

The restrictions apply to all preschool educational organizations across the region.

State-run preschool educational organizations are scheduled to resume operations in accordance with the established procedure starting 20 July 2026.
