Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Over the past year, a total of US$1.5 billion was transferred abroad from Kazakhstan. Uzbekistan emerged as the primary destination for remittances, receiving US$465 million, followed closely by Russia with US$459 million.
The smallest volume of transfers was directed to Türkiye, amounting to US$310.6 million.
In the opposite direction, remittances from Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan totaled 23.6 billion tenge (US$47.42 million).
