Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A Tashkent region delegation led by regional governor Zoyir Mirzayev visited Suntown Technology Group Co., Ltd. (SNTO) in China on 17 September as part of a working visit, the Tashkent region administration's press service said. The two sides discussed prospects for production and investment cooperation and the implementation of new projects.
SNTO was founded in 2003 in the city of Changsha and specialises in the deep processing of aluminium and the production of advanced materials.
During the visit, Tashkent region representatives familiarised themselves with the company's production capacity and modern technological processes.
Particular attention was given to the production of high-precision aluminium foil, industrial profiles, lightweight structures and aluminium formwork systems for construction. Delegation representatives also reviewed the use of digital technologies and resource-saving solutions in production.
At the talks, the two sides examined the possibility of localising the production of modern aluminium formwork systems for construction and environmentally friendly packaging products in the Tashkent region.
They also discussed the introduction of advanced "green" technologies and expanding SNTO's opportunities to enter the Central Asian market.
The company's research and innovation potential was noted separately.
In particular, attention was given to the work of SNTO's National Technology Centre and postdoctoral research station, which are being considered as opportunities for implementing new projects.
The introduction of advanced technologies, localisation of production and the company's entry into new markets were identified as promising areas of cooperation.
