The National List of immovable objects of material cultural heritage approved

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) –– The Government List approved the National List of Immovable Objects of Material Cultural Heritage.

According to the resolution, there are 8208 immovable objects of tangible cultural heritage throughout the republic, of which 4748 are archeological monuments, 2250 architectural monuments, 678 monuments of monumental art, 532 sights.

The resolution granted the Minister of Culture the right, if necessary, in accordance with the relevant order, to clarify (clarify) the name, period and address of the object.

Also, if justified, the Ministry of Culture will make proposals to the Government on amending and adding to the national list.

Due to their historical, artistic or other cultural value, collateral and a mortgage cannot be applied to objects included in the National List, except for immovable objects of tangible cultural heritage that are private property.
