Termez to host intl kurash tournaments in October

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Traditional international kurash tournament for the Uzbek President's Cup, devoted to the memory of Hakim at-Termizi, and the World Kurash Championship will be held in Termez on 19-23 October 2011.

It is expected that the events will be attended by strongest athletes of Brazil, Turkey, Greece, South Africa, Iran, India, Mongolia, and others.

The organizers said that men and women will compete at eight weight categories at the World Kurash Championship.

At the President Cup, devoted to the memory of Hakim at-Termizi, the wrestlers will compete at absolute weight category for the main prize.
