Tashkent authorities announce end of heating season
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Tashkent city administration has officially announced the end of the heating season starting from 18 March 2025.
According to established regulations, heating is turned off the day after a five-day period in which the average daily temperature exceeds +8°C.
Over the past week, daytime temperatures in Tashkent have remained stable at +18-19°C, while nighttime temperatures have not dropped below +8°C.
According to the Center for Hydrometeorology, temperatures will continue to rise in the coming days, reaching +20-22°C during the day and staying above +10°C at night.
With the current average daily temperature already exceeding +12-13°C, the conditions for ending the 2024-2025 heating season have been met.
Based on these factors, the official heating shutdown will take place on 18 March 2025.
