Subscribers’ base of MTS Uzbekistan grows by 2.5% in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Number of subscribers of MTS Uzbekistan, largest mobile communication operator of Uzbekistan, made up 9.53 million people as of 31 March 2012.

Russia’s Mobile TeleSystems, largest mobile communication operator in Russia and the CIS states, said that the subscriber base of the company grew by 2.5% or 230,000 users in January March compared to December 2011.

Consolidated number of subscribers of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC made up 100.23 million users as of the end of March 2012.

MTS Uzbekistan (Uzdunrobita) is one of the largest mobile operators in Uzbekistan. From August 2004, the operator enters to structure of Mobile TeleSystems OJSC (Russia).
