Solar street lamps installed at Pushkin Square in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- LED street lamps, working on accumulated solar energy, were installed at Pushkin Square in Tashkent.

According to the Uzbek State Nature Committee, about 20 LED street lamps, working on accumulated solar energy, were installed at Pushkin Square.

The initiative was implemented within the project “Assisting realization of ecologic initiatives in Uzbekistan” of the State Nature Committee and the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan.

The project initiators took into account outlook of the square during the development of the design of the street lamps.
