Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — On 26 March, Shakhrisabz Airport resumed regular passenger flights after a two-week break. The first flight to arrive was US721 from Silk Avia, which landed at 11:17 local time.
The airport's operations were suspended on March 13 to undergo major repairs on the runway. During the work, the surface was reinforced and replaced with new asphalt.
The repair of the taxiway is expected to be completed soon, further enhancing the safety and comfort of flights.
