Senate approved Law on Volunteering

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) – The Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved a law “On Volunteering”.

The law envisages the creation of a system of public relations in the field of volunteer activities, increasing the efficiency of non-profit organizations, continuing the development of civil society in the country, as well as improving the legislative framework that ensures the effective implementation and development of volunteer activities in modern conditions.

The approved law will enter into force after its signing by the President and publication in the prescribed manner.
