School Fairs Open Across Tashkent Ahead of Academic Year

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Seasonal school fairs have opened across Tashkent to provide residents with stationery, textbooks and other supplies needed for the start of the new academic year on 1 September.

The trading venues have been set up at public schools, local agricultural markets and commercial complexes throughout the city, including major trading platforms at the Urikzor commercial complex and Farhad market.

Fairs are operating across numerous city venues, including the Aviasozlar, Askiya, Chilanzar, Mirabad, Navruz, Sergeli, Farhad, Eski Juva, Yunusabad and Karakamysh markets, as well as the Chilanzar, Chorsu and Urikzor commercial complexes.

At Aviasozlar market, stalls have been established within the parking area, while Askiya market has positioned vendors near its Shota Rustaveli Street entrance and rear access points. Chilanzar market features trading zones at the intersection of Bunyodkor and Farhad streets, in parking areas, and within Katta Chilanzar-3 neighborhood.

In Mirabad, stalls are located along Avliyoota Street near the main market entrance. Sergeli's market trading sites span several residential areas, including Sergeli-2, Sergeli-6, Sergeli-7, Kuyluk-5, and near the Sergeli-4 pedestrian underpass.

Farhad market has deployed stalls along Farhad Street, near its main gates, and behind the main market area. At Eski Juva market, vendors operate near the central octagonal staircase, the open metro area, and TIM-1 and TIM-2 sections.

Additional fairs are functioning directly within the Navruz and Yunusabad markets, at the Tansikboyev branch of Karakamysh market, at the Chorsu complex near its main entrance, and to the left of the main entrance gates at the Urikzor complex.
