Tashkent Launches New Bus Route 79 Connecting TTZ and Beruniy
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A new bus route, No. 79, operating between the TTZ bus station and the Beruniy metro station, has begun operations in Tashkent to improve transport accessibility between residential areas and the metro system.
The route runs along Yuzrabot, Feruza, Muhammad Ulugbek, Shokhimardon Muminov, and Ziyolilar streets, before continuing via the Little Ring Road and Farabi Street. Buses on the line operate daily from 05:30 to 23:00.
Service on the newly established direction is provided by eight new medium-capacity Yutong buses.
The launch of route No. 79 represents an step toward expanding the capital's public transport network, improving service quality, and providing additional transfer options for passengers connecting to the metro system.
