Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A total of 7,749,308 foreign citizens visited Uzbekistan for tourism purposes in January–July 2026, marking an increase of 1.4 million people, or 22.6%, compared to the same period in 2025, according to the National Committee on Statistics.

Kyrgyzstan accounted for the largest number of tourist arrivals at 2,177,108 people, followed by Kazakhstan with 1,855,562 visitors, and Tajikistan with 1,728,978 tourists.

Over the seven-month period, 710,824 tourists visited Uzbekistan from Russia, followed by Afghanistan with 281,200 people and China with 269,735.

Turkmenistan ranked seventh with 192,830 tourists, while 111,908 people visited Uzbekistan from Türkiye.

India and the Republic of Korea also entered the top 10 largest source countries for tourist arrivals. During January–July, 32,462 tourists arrived from India and 26,512 from South Korea.
