Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Saidazim Gulyamov has been officially appointed as Chief Executive Officer of UzAuto Motors Powertrain. The decision was announced in a material event disclosure published on 8 July via the Unified Corporate Information Portal.
His appointment was approved on 30 June during the company’s annual general shareholders' meeting. According to the resolution, a one-year employment contract will be signed with Gulyamov. Earlier, on 23 June, his candidacy was endorsed by the company’s Supervisory Board.
Gulyamov had been serving as Acting CEO of UzAuto Motors Powertrain since late December 2024, following the resignation of Bo Andersson, who had led UzAuto Motors and its subsidiary Powertrain for nearly three and a half years.
Initially, it was reported that Gulyamov would temporarily lead UzAuto Motors Powertrain until a permanent CEO was confirmed, with a final decision expected no later than 30 June 2025. During his interim tenure, he was granted full executive authority.
As for the parent company, UzAuto Motors, János Kovács was appointed CEO in June 2025, succeeding Odiljon Bastamkulov, who had been serving in an interim capacity since January after Bo Andersson’s departure.
