Russian skaters plan to compete for Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Russian figure skaters Ekaterina Geinish and Dmitry Chigirev plan to move to Uzbekistan from next seasonб TASS reported.

According to an agency source, the couple, who trains in Nina Moser’s group, have submitted documents to move to Uzbekistan. It is expected that from next season they will compete under the flag of Uzbekistan.

The skaters have been performing together since the 2022/23 season. They are prize-winners of the Moscow Championship and winners of the Moscow Cup stage.
