Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The first flight of Jordan's national airline, Royal Jordanian, arriving from Amman, has landed at the Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport. The aircraft landed on 1 July 2026 at 04:10 local time, opening direct regular air communication between the capitals of the two countries.

The launch of the new route is expected to contribute to the development of tourism, the expansion of business cooperation, and the strengthening of humanitarian ties between Uzbekistan and Jordan.

The new flight will also provide passengers from Jordan and neighboring states with more convenient access not only to Uzbekistan but also to other countries in the region. In addition, the air link will expand opportunities for visiting the tourist centers of the country, including Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, and other historical cities.
